Job Summary
Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients while serving as the primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education. Educate interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on Abbott's Stroke Prevention products, including Amplatzer, Amulet, and LAA Occluder. Train clinical staff on proper product usage, technical support during procedures, and the latest industry developments. Meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and link data outcomes to key messaging. This role requires 50% travel and is located in Raleigh, NC.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of related work experience
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging
- EP (Electrophysiology) and SH (Structural Heart) sales experience
