Job Summary
Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients while serving as the primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education on Abbott's Stroke Prevention products. Train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on proper clinical usage of devices like Amplatzer and LAA Occluder, actively engaging in procedural discussions to link data outcomes to key messaging. Educate healthcare providers on the latest product developments and meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions. This role requires 6+ years of cardiovascular experience, 50% travel, and a strong clinical orientation to support product marketing strategies and improve quality of life through structural heart disease solutions.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
- Strong clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging
- Strong consideration will be given to candidates with EP (Electrophysiology) and SH (Structural Heart) sales experience
