Job Summary
Train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on the use of Abbott's Structural Heart products, including Amplatzer, Amulet, and LAA Occluder. Provide technical support to physicians during procedures and serve as the primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education. Collaborate with Territory Managers to deliver case coverage and clinical outcomes, while educating customers on product merits, proper clinical usage, and the latest industry developments. Actively engage in clinical discussions to link data outcomes to key messaging and meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions. This role requires 6+ years of cardiovascular experience, 50% travel, and a strong clinical orientation to influence diverse clinician types.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging
- EP (Electrophysiology) and SH (Structural Heart) sales experience
