Job Summary
Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients while serving as the primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education. Educate customers on the proper clinical usage of Abbott's Stroke Prevention products, including Amplatzer, Amulet, and LAA Occluder, and inform them of the latest industry developments. Actively engage in clinical and procedural discussions to link data outcomes to key messaging, meeting with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions. This role requires 6+ years of cardiovascular experience and involves 50% travel to support interventional cardiologists and catheter lab staff.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging
- EP (Electrophysiology) and SH (Structural Heart) sales experience
