Job Summary
Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients while serving as the primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education. Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of Abbott's Stroke Prevention products, including Amplatzer, Amulet, and LAA Occluder, by training interventional cardiologists and catheter lab staff. Actively engage in clinical discussions to link data outcomes to key messaging and meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions. Travel in excess of 50% of the time to support these activities across the Greater Metro Detroit region.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging
- EP (Electrophysiology) and SH (Structural Heart) sales experience
