Job Summary
Conduct on-site vital link activities between healthcare providers, patients, and the organization to ensure seamless care transitions by promoting home medical equipment and respiratory services. Build relationships with referral sources, educate medical professionals on services, and support patients in transitioning to home-based care. Assist Sales, Account Receivable, and Customer Service teams in obtaining patient chart notes for insurance coverage criteria. Deliver and set up PAP Therapy equipment, troubleshoot devices, and maintain knowledge of equipment options, insurance guidelines, and contract provisions. Present the company professionally to enhance organizational image within the medical and community sectors. Follow up with customers and referral sources to resolve concerns, adhere to insurance guidelines and regulatory requirements, and communicate financial expectations clearly. Work after hours as needed and maintain flexibility in daily routines to ensure timely equipment delivery for all referrals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Driver's license & vehicle insurance in residing state
- If medical professional, the current license in residing state
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's or associate degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited college or university
- one to three years of relevant experience and/or training
- Prior experience and knowledge in home medical equipment and respiratory services
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, coming to a logical and effective solution meeting regulatory and organizational standards
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand & follow organizational policy & procedure
- Ability to learn and communicate features and benefits of a variety of products and services
- Competence and confidence to present a professional image in meeting with medical professionals
- Ability to meet deadlines/established timelines
- Detail oriented and able to work under pressure
- Possess good people skills and able to follow up
- Must be organized and detailed
