Job Summary

Provide day-to-day clinical leadership for Occupational Medicine and employer-based onsite clinics, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant care delivery across all locations. Directly supervise and support clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants while developing staffing schedules aligned with patient volume and regulatory demands. Maintain clinical authority for occupational health services, limited primary care, and drug screening programs, functioning as a working leader to cover staff absences and emergent operational needs. Standardize clinical workflows, policies, and protocols to optimize patient flow for injury visits, regulatory exams, and testing programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and workplace safety regulations while monitoring documentation and implementing corrective actions for identified risks. Serve as a clinical liaison with employer partners to meet contracted program requirements and collaborate with physicians and administrative leadership on clinic performance. Maintain oversight of clinical supplies, equipment, and exam room readiness while utilizing organizational systems including EHR and scheduling software. Perform essential job functions in a manner that ensures the safety of patients, visitors, and employees, adhering to all DCH Health System policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current Alabama or Multistate License
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Must be actively working on Bachelor's degree with completion date within 4 years of hire with evidence of active matriculation
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse
  • Specialty experience preferred in applied area
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English
  • Lifting up to 10 lbs. maximum
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Hearing and vision must be normal or corrected to within normal range
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, and/or crouch on occasion
  • Must be able to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Physical presence onsite is essential
