Clinical RN II PACU PreOp

Primarily responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, with day-to-day supervision of nursing and ancillary staff. Coordinates plan of care with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team. Adheres to the California Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics/standards. Supervises activities of nursing personnel and participates in patient handling and mobilization as needed. Requires ability to speak/read English proficiently and proficient computer skills. CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required. Per diem, varying shifts in Palomar Health’s PACU in Escondido, CA.
