Job Summary
Provide timely medical reviews for cardiology cases by determining medical appropriateness using evidence-based guidelines and clinical acumen. Clearly document all communication and decision-making in Cohere workflow tools while meeting strict turn-around times. Support team projects focused on building clinical expertise and improving operational efficiency for member and provider experience. This fully remote role includes approximately 5% travel for onboarding and occasional meetings. Candidates must hold current NCCPA certification and at least three years of cardiology experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in at least one U.S. state
- 3+ years of clinical experience supporting Cardiology
- Previous experience in managing spine conditions in an office setting
- Assisting on spine cases in the operating room
- Remote-first role
- About 5% travel
- Boston, MA for new hire onboarding
- Occasional in-person team meetings and company events
