Job Summary

Review medical records and treatment plans to ensure alignment with established guidelines and standards. Apply analytical skills to designated patient population documentation to assess accuracy and completeness. Participate in department quality improvement initiatives and provide clinician-specific education regarding quality, outcomes improvement, and documentation standards. This role supports Mass General Brigham's mission to enhance patient care, teaching, and research through continuous quality improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field of study
  • 3+ years Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) specialist training or risk adjustment experience, including clinical coding knowledge
  • 2+ years experience with chart reviews in electronic medical records, clinical data, supporting or leading work around quality and improvements and creating and/or presenting education material

Desired Qualifications

  • RN license
  • Coding Credential (CRC, CPC or CCS)
