Job Summary
Conduct full respiratory assessments, diagnostics, and equipment quality control checks while delivering oxygen therapy and ventilatory support to clients. Develop treatment plans in consultation with physicians and care teams, obtain informed consent, and provide follow-up to evaluate treatment effects and compliance. Liaise with referring physicians, funding agencies, and prospective clients to promote products and services, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and infection control policies. Maintain client confidentiality, complete all required documentation, and participate in a rotational after-hours on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or RPN/LPN where applicable
- Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body
- Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills
- Valid driver's license
- Clear vulnerable persons check
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to participate in a rotational after-hours on call schedule
- Fluent in written and spoken English (or French if required)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare field an asset
