Job Summary
Conduct frequent rounds to nursing and ancillary units to optimize health care team interventions and ensure safe, optimal patient outcomes. Provide clinical consultation, coordinate care across departments, and attend Medical Emergency Response calls while independently administering medications per licensure authority. Educate staff on effective patient care methods and collaborate on data analysis to identify opportunities for service and safety improvements. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 2 years of critical care experience
- BLS and ACLS - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action
