Job Summary
Coordinate patient flow and system navigation on the Nursing unit under the Manager's direction. Manage bed assignments, oversee discharge planning, and advocate for patients and families. Identify supply and equipment needs while assisting with staff scheduling. Requires three years of charge nurse experience and five years of acute or community nursing experience. Holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent diploma, with Basic Life Support certification. Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Part-time temporary role at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon, working days and nights shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years experience in the specific clinical area
- Three (3) years charge nurse experience
- Five years recent acute or community nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Nursing diploma
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
