Job Summary
Clinical Coordinator on the Nursing unit at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon, coordinating system navigation and patient flow, bed management, discharge planning, advocating for patients and families, identifying supply/equipment needs, and assisting with staff scheduling. Requires BScN (or nursing diploma) and BLS; strong mediation, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills; experience as a charge nurse and in acute/community nursing; ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and adapt to changing conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Three (3) years experience in the specific clinical area
- Five years recent acute or community nursing experience
- Three (3) years charge nurse experience
