Job Summary
The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) works under the delegation of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and/or aligned nurse administrator to collaboratively improve the quality of patient care and promote desired patient outcomes in Radiology and Interventional Radiology specialty practice and Department of Nursing. The role requires RN licensure, CNS education program enrollment with anticipated APRN certification within 5 years, and typically 3 years of nursing experience; Master's degree is preferred. The position is TN sponsorship eligible (F-1 OPT eligible for post-completion but not F-1 STEM OPT) with potential state licensure requirements and various certifications (BLS, CPR/AED). Full-time schedule, multiple Mayo Clinic campuses in the US, and no international assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program
- Master's degree preferred
- Three years of successful work experience in nursing
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements
- Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association/BLS, Red Cross CPR/AED for Professionals, Military Training Network
- Exemption Status: Exempt
- Schedule: Full Time
- Experience in Radiology/Interventional Radiology preferred
- Two years in the specialty area preferred
- Licensure in multiple states may be required
- APRN license anticipated completion within 5 years and CNS education program enrollment
