Job Summary
Clinical Resource Nurse for the Inpatient Cardiac Unit responsible for serving as a nursing resource to physicians, staff, patients, and families; leads and mentors clinical staff; advocates for Patient and Family-Centered Care; collaborates with hospital coordinators/physicians on admissions, transfers, and discharges; applies the nursing process to develop and adjust care plans, coordinates with the healthcare team, and responds to unanticipated events to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Education - Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- BLS within 60 days of hire or transfer
