Job Summary
Develop unit education goals based on comprehensive needs assessments and lead peer professional growth initiatives. Coordinate and improve orientation processes using evidenced-based practice while identifying future learning needs. Provide counseling, support, and information on disease processes, illness prevention, and medications. Obtain accurate nursing histories and assess, document, and report physiological and behavioral changes. Implement hospital and nursing guidelines in clinical practice. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, two to three years of Med/Surg experience, and BLS/ACLS certification. Travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing / Patient Care
- 2-3 years current Med/Surg clinical experience
- 2 years Nursing/Patient Care
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
