Job Summary

Collect biospecimens using phlebotomy and apheresis methods, process specimens for research and manufacturing, and manage shipping, tracking, and storage. Organize and prioritize project tasks to meet research study timelines while completing accurate data entry and maintaining current files. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling visits, managing communications, and assisting with meeting set-ups. Communicate effectively with team members, healthcare workers, and Principal Investigators while adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Maintain confidentiality of subject records and participate in process improvement activities. Requires a valid driver's license, proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data capture systems, and the ability to work under general supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with study subjects and sponsors, investigators, health care workers, and collaborating professionals
  • Effective organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data related to laboratory results, subject health history, and data collection and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Typing skills to prepare business correspondence and reports with speed and accuracy
  • Proficiency with data entry
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of the team
  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks
  • Personal Computer (desk top, lap top, tablet)
  • General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copy machine)
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • EPIC medical record system
  • Electronic Data Capture systems such as Velos, Redcap, Medidata, Inform, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a health care or research setting
  • Familiarity with regulations associated with human subject research
