Clinical Research Student (Nursing)

Job Summary
The Research Summer Student will assist with data collection, chart reviews and literature review to evaluate defined projects or processes within the CCRU Nursing Program under the supervision of the Nursing Leadership Team and Nursing Manager. They will work with nurses in assigned clinical areas within their scope of practice and under supervision of the preceptor; duties include literature searches, chart review for ongoing evaluation, transportation of samples and medications as needed, and assisting nursing with tasks within scope of practice. Must be 16+ and enrolled in a Nursing Bachelor's or Postgraduate program; BCLS certification and familiarity with Microsoft programs required. Duration May 2026 to August 31, 2026. Location: Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada (in-person); temporary full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelors or Postgraduate program in Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs
