Clinical Research Nurse Lead

Lead and supervise clinical trials operations from startup to closeout, training research staff and overseeing the department's overall research operations. Develop or contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs), attend leadership meetings, represent TJU internally and externally, develop content and present, and participate in community and committee activities. Duties include interacting with staff and participants, collecting and documenting clinical information, providing patient education, obtaining informed consent, supporting enrollment into trials, organizing meetings, tracking progress, distributing minutes, and ensuring adherence to protocol guidelines while collaborating with the research team to identify, develop, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives. This role emphasizes leadership, operational oversight, and institutional-level consultation within a large academic medical center.
