Job Summary
Clinical Research Engagement Lead (Boston, MA) partners with Roche Genentech Clinical Operations to develop and execute country-level site engagement strategies, negotiate site budgets and forecast resources, and drive early feasibility, study start-up, and ongoing site support. Acts as primary liaison to investigators, pharmacists, and site administration, ensuring timely delivery of trial milestones, high-quality data, and regulatory compliance (ICH/GCP). Collaborates across Medical Affairs, Study Start-Up, and CROs to maintain site communications, document site visits, and optimize enrollment and cycle times. Requires a life-sciences degree (MD/PhD/MA/MS/BA/BS) and 5+ years in clinical research/operations, strong written/spoken communication, and travel 30-50% with willingness to reside near a major airport. Preference for regional experience, oncology exposure, and network with local trial sites. Salary range $114,200–$212,200 plus discretionary annual bonus and benefits; relocation benefits not available.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (MD, PhD, MA / MS, BA / BS) in life sciences or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant clinical research or clinical operations experience
- Experience in end-to-end product development and expert understanding of ICH/GCP
- Proven track record in managing site relationships and overseeing complex clinical trials
- Exceptional interpersonal, cross-functional, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically between 30-50% dependent on business or site needs
