Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Summary
Conduct clinical research support for studies involving human subjects and manage daily trial operations. Administer projects, implement protocols, and ensure quality assurance while collecting, editing, and recording interview, questionnaire, and clinical data. Recruit and screen participants, schedule appointments, and perform case management tasks. Coordinate with sponsors, track budgets, and prepare project reports for PI review. Maintain confidentiality, follow GCP guidelines, and support orientation and structured intervention sessions. Travel to other clinics in the St Louis metro area and Sullivan, MO as needed with mileage reimbursement. Full-time role with benefits including medical, 401k, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time, long-term position commitment (no summer or part-time during school year)
- Travel to other clinics in the St Louis metro area and Sullivan, MO as needed
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Favorable result on background check
- Proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficiency in refracting patients
- One year of experience collecting or processing data for research or Quality Assurance purposes
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes; medical record organization and interpretation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Basic knowledge of computer functions
- Able to use computers and software programs for complex tracking of participant tasks
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands
- Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—required 100% of the time
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to climb
Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a related field
- Experience in health research or research data collection
- Familiarity with classification of disease processes
- Knowledge of basic research ethics and principles
