Job Summary
Conduct clinical trial performance management by adhering strictly to study protocols, obtaining necessary exemptions, and communicating issues to sponsors and investigators. Collect and maintain source documentation, including vital signs, phlebotomy, and specimen packaging, while dispensing and tracking study medication. Interview patients to gather initial medical and psychiatric information, educate them on trial procedures, and provide community resource referrals at study conclusion. Manage daily communications via telephone conferences between patients, staff, sponsors, and CROs, ensuring timely completion of monitor and sponsor queries. Utilize psychiatric rating scales to maintain interrater reliability with clinicians. This role supports K2 Medical Research's multiphasic trials in neurodegenerative and cardiometabolic medicine across Florida, Tennessee, and Rhode Island, featuring a four-day work week with 10-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED Transcript
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Prior experience in a clinical environment
- Experience in clinical research and Parkinson's (neurodegenerative disease)
- Phlebotomy, LPN, RN, or other medical licensure or certification
- Strong working knowledge of GCP and FDA guidelines
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Must be available for a four-day work week consisting of 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday
- Must be able to work in Orlando (Maitland), FL
