Job Summary

Recruit, orient, and supervise research administration staff while independently managing complex clinical trial activities and multiple smaller projects. Oversee clinical trial information systems, ensure adherence to study protocols, and monitor expenditures against budgets to resolve CAS issues. Educate research teams on policies and procedures, develop strategies for participant recruitment and retention, and periodically audit operations for regulatory compliance. Lead grant proposal development, submit study materials, and chair committees to resolve significant operational issues. Manage study-related equipment and facilities needs while ensuring all training requirements are tracked through Emory Healthcare.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • nine years of clinical research experience
  • two years of college in a scientific, health related, or business administration program
  • seven years clinical research experience
  • licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • six years clinical research experience
  • bachelor's degree in a scientific, health related or business administration program
  • five years of clinical research experience
  • master's degree, MD or PhD in a scientific, health related, or business administration program
  • two years of clinical research experience
  • Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
  • Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
