Job Summary
Clinical Research Coordinator III for Leukemia/BMT coordinates and manages multiple clinical studies within the Department of Medical Oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital. Responsibilities include recruiting and screening study participants, scheduling and coordinating study visits, executing all aspects of study visits (adverse events assessment, safety monitoring, medication administration, questionnaires, sample collection and shipping), maintaining data collection and source documentation per ICH/GCP guidelines, and providing clinical care within clinical trials. The role requires collaboration with investigators and the health care team, nursing expertise, and autonomous critical thinking to support patient care and protocol adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health or science-related discipline
- Recognized certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA) obtained or plans to work towards
- Registered Nurse with 3 to 5 years clinical/professional experience
- Minimum 1 year oncology clinical experience with strong Leukemia/BMT knowledge
- Some experience in research contract budget management
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Attention to detail and meticulous documentation
- Knowledge of nursing process in planning and evaluating patient care
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
