Job Summary
Manage all aspects of a study from planning through closeout, including participating in informed consent, coordinating visit procedures, entering data, resolving queries, and managing investigational products and supplies. Conduct FDA studies with excellent quality while assisting with lab draws, processing, and shipping. Host monitoring visits and attend investigator meetings to ensure research integrity aligns with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines. Provide the highest level of care for study patients and deliver excellent customer service to pharmaceutical clients. Some supervision of direct reports may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five plus (5+) years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
- Medical assistant or phlebotomist
- Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Excellent communication, punctual and responsible
- Extremely well organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
- Mature and pleasant demeanor
- Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
- Onsite in San Diego, CA (no capabilities for remote or hybrid work)
- Monday & Thursday - 8:30am-5pm / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am-3:30 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Experience supervising other employees strongly preferred
