Job Summary
Clinical Research Coordinator III in Gastrointestinal oncology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre under the Cancer Clinical Research Unit. Primary responsibilities include recruiting study participants, coordinating visits per protocol, executing study visits (monitoring safety, adverse events, samples, and data collection), and providing nursing care within clinical trials. Requires RN license with 3–5 years of clinical/professional experience, GI oncology knowledge, ICH/GCP training, and certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA). Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills are essential; role involves independent prioritization and collaboration with investigators and health care teams. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent
- current certificate of competence (license/registration) from a college legislated under the Regulated Health Professional Act
- Recognized certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA)
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 to 5 years clinical and/or professional experience
- Minimum one (1) year clinical experience in oncology with strong knowledge base in GI oncology
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Attention to detail and meticulous documentation practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating patient care
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
