Job Summary

Maintain data for research projects by completing source documents, case report forms, and REDCap data entry. Assist with patient recruitment through medical record reviews, screenings, interviews, and QOL questionnaires. Collect and process human biological specimens including blood, saliva, stool, and urine according to protocol. Order and maintain equipment and supplies while managing inventory and specimen location. Coordinate services, schedule procedures, create case packages, and monitor charges. Track regulatory submissions and support quality assurance. Perform related approved responsibilities as required. This position reports to the technical director of the Children's Clinical and Translational Discovery Core, supporting investigators in basic science, epidemiologic, translational, and clinical pediatric research.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • three years of administrative support experience
  • two years of college in a scientific, health related, or business administration program
  • one year of admin support or customer service experience
  • licensed as a practical nurse (LPN)
  • one year admin support
  • one year of licensed practical nursing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree
  • MD or PhD in a scientific, health related or business administration program
  • Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location
  • working remote is not an option

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft applications
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic laboratory bench skills (micropipetting, aseptic technique, centrifugation, etc.)
