Job Summary
Maintain data for research projects, complete source documents and case report forms, and perform data entry. Assist with patient recruitment by reviewing medical records, conducting screenings, performing interviews, and administering QOL questionnaires. Collect study specimens including phlebotomy, processing, and preparation for shipping. Order and maintain equipment and supplies, coordinate services, schedule procedures, create case packages, and monitor charges. Attend study meetings and assist with quality assurance while tracking regulatory submissions. This role supports clinical research and training requirements tracked through Emory Healthcare under the Clinical Researcher credentialing category. Position tasks must be performed in-person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- three years of administrative support experience
- two years of college in a scientific, health related, or business administration program
- one year of admin support or customer service experience
- licensed as a practical nurse (LPN)
- one year admin support
- one year of licensed practical nursing experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- MD or PhD in a scientific, health related or business administration program
- Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location
