Job Summary

Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials from initiation to completion under supervision, organizing research information and observing subjects while assisting with data analysis and reporting. Schedule data collection, monitor and report research data to maintain quality and compliance, and review adverse events, protocol deviations, and unanticipated problems appropriately. Perform safety and efficacy assessments including vital signs, EKGs, and blood draws as assigned, and educate potential participants on protocol details. Ensure the site receives accurate information and supplies from sponsors, perform administrative and regulatory duties, and participate in protocol development activities. Assist the Clinical Trial Manager with vendor oversight, accounting, recruitment, and staff training. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at an indoor office environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have experience and demonstrate mastery of a Clinical Research Coordinator position
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • CCRC certification
  • 2-3 years of experience in the medical field
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal regulations protecting human subjects in research and that govern the conduct of clinical trials
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the organization, along with those at the sponsor and vendor level
  • Crisis management and problem solving skills; ability to react calmly and effectively in emergent situations
  • Works independently as well as functioning as part of a team
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Overnight travel may be required for training and/or investigative meetings

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, preferred
  • CCRC certification preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in the medical field, preferred
