Job Summary
Manage medication transaction activities including receiving, inspecting, reconciling, storing, labeling, and dispensing investigational drugs under supervision. Conduct routine inventory counts, monitor temperature storage conditions, and report excursions or discrepancies. Perform accurate patient data entry, maintain study worksheets, and ensure all documentation remains audit-ready. Support sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections while adhering to GCP, FDA, and OHRP regulations. Requires current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification, one year of pharmacy experience, and familiarity with pharmacy management systems. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work as a team or independently while managing multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and pharmacy management systems
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work with medication storage areas, including refrigeration and deep freeze units and controlled room temperature environments
