Job Summary
Clinical Research Assistant PD will support multiple clinical research projects by assisting in the acquisition and analysis of patient information, conducting patient interviews to gather data, maintaining study records, and entering data into databases. Responsibilities include performing statistical analyses (quantitative and qualitative), reviewing literature to inform protocols, and assisting in development of research protocols. Role may involve performing EKGs, taking vital signs during research monitoring, and handling blood spinning and shipping of blood/tissue samples per protocol. Additional duties include coordinating with Principal Investigators, ensuring protocol eligibility, obtaining informed consent, scheduling visits, abstracting medical records, and generating graphs/charts of results. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–6 months of on-the-job experience, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Location: Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI.
