Job Summary
Clinical Research Assistant in the Neurology Parkinson’s Disease Center coordinates and supports clinical trials. Core duties include recruiting and educating patients for trials, scheduling visits and assessments, evaluating patient eligibility, maintaining source documents and case report forms, performing subject visits as needed, and providing written/verbal reports to the Principal Investigator and Project Manager. The role emphasizes organizational and communication skills within a neurology research environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in the medical field
- Certifications/Licenses: Certified Nursing Aid
- Preferred Qualifications Education: Associate degree(s) in related field
- Work Experience: Experience working in the Neurology field
- Experience working with Parkinson’s Disease patients
- Skills: Organizational Skills
- Skills: Communication Skills
- Ability to schedule clinical trial patients and maintain source documents
- Ability to educate patients for clinical trials
- Ability to provide written and verbal reports to Principal Investigator and Project Manager
