Job Summary
Support study coordinators with administrative tasks and manage patient visit scheduling per protocol. Collect vital data including vital signs, EKGs, patient interviews, and medical record reviews. Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory submissions and reviews. Perform phlebotomy and manage lab specimen collection, processing, and shipping per trial protocols. Handle research office calls and triage inquiries. This 6-month temporary role in San Antonio, TX, requires Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM hours. One year of medical assistant experience with phlebotomy is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. The IMA Group's Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II-IV trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience as a medical assistant with phlebotomy preferred
- minimum 6 months in a medical office or equivalent setting
- Proficient in phlebotomy/lab draws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Willingness to learn lab specimen processing procedures and take on new skills
Desired Qualifications
- Background in clinical research or the medical field
- CRIO experience
