Job Summary
Recruit and screen subjects to participate in trials, coordinate patient visits, and perform procedures related to research. Collect accurate data from research visits and monitor participants to ensure adherence to study protocols while maintaining relationships with site staff, study subjects, and sponsor delegates. Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, regulatory standards, and all research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support a high-volume research department within an ophthalmic practice that provides quality and compassionate eye care services for conditions including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in healthcare, preferably ophthalmology, but not necessarily in clinical research
- Analytical mindset
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
