Clinical Reimbursement Manager

Clinical Reimbursement Manager responsible for overseeing clinical reimbursement operations, ensuring accurate collection of MDS data, timely completion of MDS and MMDS, and collaboration with nursing to support comprehensive resident assessments. Role requires expertise in MDS/RAI coding, documentation standards to substantiate reimbursement, and coordination with rehabilitation, business office, and regulatory audits. Must engage in ongoing utilization review, ensure compliance with external audits, and contribute to actions that improve clinical outcome measures. Strong knowledge of MDS processes, RAI manual, ICD-10 coding, and regulatory requirements; proficient with MDS software (e.g., PointClickCare) and Microsoft Office; effective communication with care teams and leadership; and ability to work with elderly, ill, and emotionally challenging residents.
