Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients in departments including OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Allergy, and Pediatrics. Coordinate with care team, assist physicians with clinical procedures, perform telephone triage, and participate in patient teaching. Supervise LPNs, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel. Requires ability to handle physical duties (lifting, mobility assistance) and work in a medical office environment. Licensure in NYS and EMT certification are required; BSN preferred as part of qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State (NYS) with current NYS registration and in good standing
- EMT License and EMT Experience required
