Job Summary
Per diem Clinical Dietitian provides nutritional care to patients through medical record review, clinical assessment, diet education, and communication with nursing, physicians, and ancillary staff; determines appropriateness of nutritional support and supplementation. Delivers nutrition screening within established timeframe and conducts assessments as warranted; applies knowledge of metabolism, food chemistry, and macro/micronutrient composition to tailor dietary plans for a highly specialized patient population; collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, nutritious meals and patient-centered care; contributes to food production and service systems to support dietary needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited program required; Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited dietetic internship.
- Must be license eligible and licensed in the state of New Hampshire within 90 days of hire.
