Job Summary
Independent contractor (1099) Clinical Recruiter for clinical roles (NPs and Physicians) in a remote-first US-wide setting. Partner with hiring stakeholders to clarify clinical requirements, licensure needs, timelines, and priorities. Source candidates across job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and healthcare associations; conduct targeted searches using ATS platforms, LinkedIn, and recruitment databases. Build and maintain talent pools for current and future clinical staffing needs. Screen candidates for clinical qualifications, licensure, credentials, and role fit. Share market insights on clinical talent availability, compensation trends, and licensing considerations. Remote-first engagement across the United States with a focus on building qualified candidate pipelines, overseeing credentialing considerations, and driving hiring outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in clinical/healthcare, specifically with Nurse Practitioners and/or Physicians
- 2+ years recruiting in a high-growth startup environment, ideally digital health or telemedicine
- Strong understanding of clinical credentialing, multi-state licensure, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to source for niche licensed healthcare roles
- Experience using AI within the recruiting process
- Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent searches
- Strong sourcing and screening skills, including passive candidate outreach
- Experience with Lever or a comparable ATS
