Job Summary
This position provides primary support to clinical and operational leadership in monitoring and evaluating processes for outcomes management, performance improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. The role involves developing and coordinating components of the Clinical Effectiveness and Performance Improvement Program. Responsibilities include facilitating clinical improvement activities, providing management and clinical staff with decision support information, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, relevant certification, and 5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate electronic health records are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related clinical field or equivalent education/experience
- 5 years recent relevant experience
- BLS CA RN Lic
- Registered healthcare professional (BSN, Public Health Nurse, Social Worker, Health Educator/Health Education Specialist, Health Services/Healthcare Administrator, Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Medical Dosimetrist, Biomedical Engineer/Bioengineer, Bioinformatics/Biostatistician Specialist, Blood Bank Technologist, Cytotechnologist, Radiation Therapist, Forensic Science Technician, or Registered Health Information Technician)
Desired Qualifications
- CPHQ certification preferred (should achieve certification within 1-year of hire if not already certified)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power Point, and Excel
- In-depth Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards
- Lean principles
- Ability to manage own time and schedule own tasks
- Must have initiative to work effectively without constant supervision and direction
