Clinical Quality Specialist - Toledo Hospital - Quality Management

Job Summary

Implement and maintain a vision for quality clinical outcomes by collaborating with leadership teams and reviewing charts to support quality improvement strategies. Establish short- and long-term goals with Quality Leads that align with ProMedica's strategic plan while monitoring trends in clinical data. This full-time, 40-hour day role requires an RN with at least two years of acute hospital nursing and quality management experience.

  • ability to perform primary research
  • ability to input and retrieve information from the Internet and hospital computer systems
  • work with Microsoft Word, Work, Outlook, and Excel
  • ability to think in terms of systems and lead systems
  • ability to understand the variability of work in planning and problem solving
  • ability to understand and demonstrate quality improvement tools
  • ability to deal effectively with a changing environment

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in acute hospital nursing
  • 2 years acute care quality management
  • Current RN License in Michigan and Ohio
