Job Summary
Clinical Quality Specialist role at Apricot focused on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of clinical outputs (OASIS responses, visit documentation, care plans, medication lists, narrative notes, and more). Responsibilities include reviewing charts and system outputs for alignment with OASIS guidelines, identifying inconsistencies, diagnosing root causes, partnering with Product and Engineering to improve prompts and workflows, supporting QA for new features and existing processes, translating clinical reasoning for non-clinical teammates, collaborating with CX to address customer issues, and helping develop scalable QA processes. A clinical background in home health is preferred (RN or PT), with emphasis on documentation review and clinical standards; no prior product or tech experience required. The role emphasizes curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving to improve home health software while working in a hybrid arrangement in Oklahoma City, OK (US).
Required Qualifications
- RN or PT strongly preferred; LPN or PTA with strong experience considered
- Deep familiarity with OASIS guidance and documentation standards
- Experience reviewing clinical documentation (chart review, audits, QA-related work)
- Detail-oriented with ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills to explain clinical reasoning to non-clinical teammates
- Collaborative mindset and openness to ambiguity in cross-functional work
