Job Summary
Clinical Quality Management Specialist II (Remote) focuses on supporting the SGS Quality Management System and improvement initiatives within Clinical Operations. Responsibilities include conducting clinical document reviews, coordinating SOPs and work instructions, performing audits to meet performance metrics, tracking risks, leading continuous improvement projects, preparing quality assurance reports, collaborating with internal teams (Training, Program Management, Case Management, Analytics, IT) and external clients to ensure contract requirements and program quality. The role requires nursing education (ADN required; BSN preferred), active RN licensure, and substantial experience in clinical quality management, audits, and workers’ compensation case management. The position is remote (home office) Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM ET, with potential involvement in data collection, analysis, and development of quality tools and training materials. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required
- Active RN license in any state; Compact License preferred
- 5 years related clinical experience with a minimum of 2 years adult medical/surgical nursing experience and a minimum of 2 years case management experience in workers’ compensation OR 1 year adult medical/surgical nursing experience and 3 years case management in workers’ compensation
- At least 2 years' experience with Quality Management including project management, quality improvement, corrective action, auditing, and/or staff education
- Experience with FECA (preferable) and FECA-related issues
- Quality-related professional certification such as CPHQ or Six Sigma (preferred) OR CCM/COHN/CRRN/CIRS/CDMS/ANCC/ANA etc. (preferred)
- ISO 9001-2015 or URAC accreditation experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass preliminary credit and background checks
- Nursing-related degree preferred (BSN) or related field preferred
