Job Summary

Conduct quality assurance reviews of peer report case reports, addendums, and supplemental reviews, ensuring evidence-based rationales, current clinical citations, and strict adherence to client specifications and regulatory mandates. Verify reviewer attestations, resolve inconsistencies by contacting peer reviewers for clarification, and assist in addressing customer complaints and quality assurance issues. Provide management insight on consultant quality, availability, and compliance with company policies while maintaining confidentiality and promoting efficient resource utilization.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN nursing license
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program or related medical experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of two years clinical or related field experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Medications and laboratory values
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals
  • Ability to compute rates and percentages
  • Qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M
  • Ability to operate a general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone
  • Knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet
  • Excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation and style
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to upper managements' directions accurately
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • 2 days: 8am-4:30pm EST
  • 1 day: 10am-6:30pm EST
  • 2 days: 12am-8:30pm EST
  • Friday is mandatory for one of the 12-8:30 shifts
  • 100% remote
