Job Summary
Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator to work 100% remote from home, evaluating peer review reports for quality, integrity, and compliance with client specifications and regulatory mandates. Responsibilities include QA review of peer review reports, addendums, and correspondences; ensuring clear, evidence-based rationales; verifying client instructions and citations from reputable medical journals; maintaining high-quality report presentation; confirming appropriate board specialty review and attestation of facts; identifying inconsistencies and collaborating with Peer Reviewers for corrections; assisting with client complaints and QA issues; ensuring adherence to federal ERISA and state mandates; providing insights to management on quality and resource use; participating in training activities; and maintaining confidentiality with strong medical terminology knowledge, English language skills, and proficiency with common software tools. Must hold an active nursing license (RN/LPN/LVN) and be able to perform essential math and data-related tasks; schedule is set for standard CT business hours with flexibility for alternate start times.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN, LPN, or LVN license
- Must be able to perform quality assurance reviews of peer review reports and ensure evidence-based rationales
