Job Summary
Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for oversight of internal and external contract auditing and documentation of mental health programs. Conduct QA reviews of charts/EHR, review client assessments and treatment plans for compliance with DMH, SAPC-DMC, and other contracts; provide clinical documentation expertise for Federal, State, County, and City contracts; deliver staff trainings on documentation and clinical considerations; participate in required program meetings; identify noncompliance and advise on improvements; convene QA review meetings; assist in writing corrective action plans; monitor contract fulfillment and prepare reports; collaborate with program management and the Clinical Supervisor on outcome measures and quality of services; support external audits and Utilization Reviews; may back up County meetings and day-to-day contract monitoring. Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, strong organizational skills, valid driver’s license and insurance, effective communication, flexible schedule (including some evenings/weekends), and ability to pass background checks. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of EXYM, experience with DMH/SAPC-DMC programs, and licensure or licensure-eligible status (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, AMFT, APCC, ACSW).
