Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for Service Members in accordance with state licensure and APA ethical standards. Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessments for suicidality and homicidality, and fitness-for-duty evaluations while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. Administer and interpret psychological tests, assist in patient rehabilitation, and provide triage coverage for acute emotional distress. Participate in interdisciplinary behavioral health treatment teams to ensure high-quality care. Requires a U.S. citizen with a PhD or PsyD, current unrestricted license, and BLS certification. On-site work between 0630 and 1800, Monday through Friday. Decypher provides Visa and relocation assistance.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  • Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology
  • Additional training for psychology specialties
  • Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territory
  • Eligibility for credentialing and clinical privileges at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF)
  • CNACI Child Care National Agency Check with Inquiries
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • At least two years experience providing family centered services to a population of young children with disabilities and their families, including diagnosis and treatment of sleeping, feeding, attachment, and other behavior disorders using behavior management and other techniques
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout a medical treatment facility for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to use computers and standard office equipment
  • Ability to observe and assess patient behavior
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds of files, testing materials, or office supplies
  • Must be able to relocate
  • Services may be scheduled between the hours of 0630 to 1800, Monday through Friday

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with/or treating active duty servicemembers and/or their family members and/or having a sound working knowledge of military culture
