Job Summary
Clinical Psychologist conducting in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. Responsibilities include reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal, performing comprehensive in-person assessments, accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms, and delivering focused evaluations without treatment or prescribing medications. Schedule is full-time (Mon-Fri, 8a-4p) with a caseload of about 4 Veterans per day, in Auburn, MA. Requires Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program and an active psychology license; entails no on-call duties and provides equipment for documentation, health insurance, and 401K benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D and graduated from an APA Accredited program
- Active and unrestricted Psychology license
- Proficient using technology to review records and complete documentation
- Ability to conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans
- Experience documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
- Capable of working within VA disability benefits process
- Strong analytical and time-management skills
- Comfort with electronic documentation and web-based portals
