Job Summary
Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Psychologists to provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population in Skilled Nursing Facilities. The role includes conducting individual and group therapy, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with facility staff. SCT handles administrative responsibilities, providing a flexible work environment with the option for customizable hours.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in relevant State.
- Effective oral and written communication in English.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
- Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
- Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
- History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.
- Psych or Addictions experience is a plus.
