Job Summary
Clinical Psychologist needed to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents across skilled nursing facilities in NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group psychotherapy, diagnosing and treating emotional and behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline), developing evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating with facility staff and family members, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation using an EHR. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, competitive salary ($80k-$125k) with uncapped fee-for-service bonuses, sign-on incentives, and comprehensive benefits. Requires doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and active, unrestricted licensure in the state of practice; in-person service at assigned facilities; strong communication, organizational, and regulatory-compliance skills; vaccination may be required in some facilities. Remote work is not indicated for this posting; positions are facility-based with on-site care. SCT provides administrative support including billing, credentialing, and pre-certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the state applying for
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities (subacute/skilled nursing facility)
- English language proficiency (oral and written)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
- Strong organizational and regulatory compliance skills
- Ability to conduct individual and group psychotherapy
- Experience with residents in geriatric/subacute/long-term care settings (preferred)
